The chocolates and flowers are starting to look a little stale and wilted, so on Monday the 21st we will be retiring the ICHC Valentines Collectibles Set. Â That still gives you a few days to get any remaining collectibles in that set, either by visiting ICHC, or buy dropping a few Cheezburger Coins.
Hm, and look at that! Looks like now we’ve got room for the new ICHC sets that are coming very soon! 
hmm, it’s still a month till Easter, so it would be too early for that kind of set…

Was kinda expecting this set’s retirement. Yes, to more collectible sets and definitely yes to a FAILblog set.
I have tons if anyone needs some! I am looking for the same retired that everyone else is, but I am lacking Insanity Wolf which may be easier to obtain.

Fantastic idea! It would be a great surprise to get a retired collectible on occasion and it would sure help those who need them. I’ve got extras if anyone needs them.
I guess I should have said I won’t accept friends if your lolz and favs are mostly memes until ICHC comes up with a way to delete those pictures from the dashboard. No offense, just not my kind of humor and I don’t want to look at it.

I was hoping you might comment on providing any means for retired sets to still be completed. Some of the original sets were available so briefly that many people were unable to complete them. This also caused duplicates that one might trade for to be scarce. Demand being far higher than availability, the vast majority of your members could not complete the initial sets and the probability they might now trade for any completion is extremely low and dropping. It would be nice if you could provide some kind of means of acquisition for these retired sets. Is this anyplace on your radar? Looking forward to your kind response. Thanks. ~frickaline

Incorporating some way to gain retired collectibles is definitely on our radar and something that we are working towards! These would be special occasion events, though, because we really do want retired collectibles to stay retired. This is still a ways out, though, and until then we’re going to continue to bring shiny new collectibles.

It would be great if you launched a possibility to exchange let’s say 5-10 of the same collectibles for the retired ones (e.g. 10 hooman beds for a turkey). Then these hooman beds would be less annoying and the trading would be more fun.
