Today we have the pleasure of spotlighting one of our awesome Cheezburger users, strangelilvampyr (AKA Missy). Missy’s profile caught our attention because of her wit, charm, and her profile’s hilarious content—and we wanted to learn more about the lady behind the profile. Here are a few questions we asked strangelilvampyr:

We’d love to hear the story behind your username!
Honestly it has been so long I forgot its exact origin. I’m pretty sure it came from a conversation with a close friend I’ll never forget. Me: “I must be your strangest friend.” Her: “Missy, you’re everyone’s strange friend.” Add a love of vampires (non-sparkling variety, thanks) and a typo—voila! I have no idea why my friends think that. Probably because I love Halloween a little too much?

How long have you been a member of the Cheezburger community and what made you want to join?
I think I’ve been browsing the site for 2-3 years? Hard to keep track. I signed up because so much stuff made me laugh, and I wanted to save those moments for later. was my first—an old high school friend posted about it on Facebook. It’s been long enough I remember the intro to every video.

What do you look for in a Cheez friend, and what’s the best way to make a new friend?
Honestly, I only recently figured out how to message someone back. Apparently I’m not as bright as I seem to think I am. The friends who have found me though are hilarious. I’ve found a lot of material to favorite thanks to them! I’d say if there’s someone out there you come across who keeps making you laugh, friend ’em. They’re invaluable.

What is your favorite site on Cheezburger and why?
Set Phasers To LOL” because Star Trek will always have a relevant place in current pop culture “facepalming.” Kirk has screamed at everything from Kahn to Justin Bieber, and we’ve screamed with him.

What is it about Cheezburger that makes you happy?
So much sarcasm it warms the cockles of my heart, but also the blunt honesty from which that sarcasm is born. I’ve found enough posts that have been so relevant I refer back to them in daily life. Then I have to explain myself, which while doing so makes me laugh, and it’s all about what makes you laugh, right?

So I think we can figure it out from checking out your profile and Cheezburger Site, but is there a certain movie or celebrity you are a big fan of?
I made my own site, Loco for Loki, so I guess it’s kinda obvious, isn’t it? Tom Hiddleston. I’m long past being a dewy-eyed teenager, so “crushing” on a celebrity feels completely asinine, but this guy I’m a sucker for. All thanks to his interviews around the time “The Avengers” came out. I was looking forward to the movie since RDJ’s Tony Snark…I mean Stark…is my favorite narcissist, and who can pass up Chris Hemsworth? Then suddenly I’m rooting for the villain, and went back to see it again, for said villain, twice.

Tell us something super interesting about yourself—an embarrassing story, a quirky habit, something that will make us laugh!
Well, when I created the above-mentioned screen name, it replaced the now embarrassing “screen name that shall not be named” I had made in high school. It served as a glaring example for being too much of a band nerd that I clearly had no way of thinking my youth’s decision through. I was a fan of Sailor Moon and wanted my screen name to be Sailor “Something” but all of the planetary bodies were taken. I also love swing music so I, uh, chose to blend them together, and the result was…let’s just say my early 20s were a real eye opener. You only see those kinds of screen names for creepy guys in chat rooms, LOL.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheezburgers?
Yes! Cheezburgers! West Coast shout out for In ‘n Out! OM NOM NOM!!

If you could create a new feature for Cheezburger members to use on our sites what would it be, and why do we need it?
I would suggest reinventing the “dashboard” or profile section completely. Maybe separate friend’s favorited LOLs from their made LOLs, uploads, and messages.

What else do you like to do when you’re not on the Internet?
Whaaat, there’s life off-line? Oh yeah…I love reading, especially when work is driving me crazy. Road trips are awesome, and Disneyland! Movies too! Remember that mall in Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Well, they tore it down and built this shopping mall on its ruins, and the best movie theater is there, right next to a massive shoe store. A girl’s heaven. Bobby Brown was in line behind me to get Iron Man 2 tickets awhile back. He was displeased that he had to wait in line with the rest of the rabble, sucka (every time I think of that day, Sam Jackson’s voice narrates). I am capable of ignoring my smartphone and walking away from my computer to get coffee or sushi with my girlfriends. We’re always the loudest table, with lots of laughter from too much sake, and less than kid-friendly conversations taking place. I’d say a boyfriend takes up my time, but there are just too many frogs in the pond at the moment. And ghost hunting. It can be scary, but mostly it’s very enjoyable. Other than that, we accountants are very dull indeed, but at least I don’t have any cats… yet.

What is your favorite submission? Can we feature it on the blog post?
Humanity Is A Meme Best Served Never—It’s not mine, but the kid’s face cracks me up every single time I see it, which is why it’s my profile picture. It’s the TRUTH. Or this one, which is mine and basically it’s how I feel about the Internet. The things one sees. Yikes.
