FAIL Nation, a brand new site, will now be your place for “classic” fails like sign fails, falling fails, and more. It’s geared for people who just want to see some fails, dangit, and no cat shirt promos.
Up Next in Sports and That Will Buff Out are being retired as individual sites. In the future, sports and car fails will all be on FAIL Nation.
FAIL Blog will now showcase the best and most highly-rated content from across the entire FAIL Blog family of sites.

I really disagree with these changes. I find them even kinda confusing. I prefer so much the old format, with the FAIL Blog site featuring the fails instead of creating that separate site. That’s my humble opinion.

You have so many sub sites, what is wrong in having one dedicated to cars?
http://fails.failblog.org/tag/cars now only has 7 pages. What if I only want to see car fails and not the whole range of human failure?
In the same logic you can merge Lolcats, Loldogs, Capshunz and Squee!. I don’t like this move.

Yeah, seriously, it’s really irritating me that you keep doing this. Guess I won’t be coming here any more, I just wanted the cars emails as well.
I’m not liking changing these sites. I can’t find what I want to look at. I’ve seen the fails and garbage before. I just want to see the sports fails!!! PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!
Not that you seem to care much about your customers, but since you asked: I still miss (and curse you for destroying) Happy Chair Is Happy and Oddly Specific. The obvious fact is that the tagging system you replaced them with doesn’t work as well – very few new images surface now. Hacked IRL has never been as good since you did the same to it, either. (And similarly, when you sold out, you broke all the epicwinftw.com – totally unnecessarily – and when I emailed to point it out, assuming it was an inadvertent oversight, the response made it very clear that you just didn’t give a damn.)
And I’m sure this new change will have the same net effect.
Hey, it’s your site, so you can do what you want with it, and I’m not paying anything for it so I can only complain just so much, but the bottom line is that every time you make a change of this kind, in this way, it sends a message to us. And eventually I won’t have any reason to bother with any of your sites any more. I sure have a clear impression (right or wrong) of what you think of me and my experience.
Of course, the great thing about the internet is that someone else can (and will, sooner or later) come along to fill the gap you’ve created. Arguably these sites created a niche that didn’t exist before, but certainly it exists now. And when a site emerges to address the niche that you’ve now spurned, we’ll go there…and our eyeballs and ad-clicks will go with us.

Um, actually I appreciate this move. I actually was never interested in any of the fail blogs until I saw this as an e-mail, now I love it. Thanks for putting it all in one page so I don’t have to go through every single link. A fail is a fail, and they’re ALL funny! I see no crime in making it more accessible, why would you complain cause you can’t see one particular fail type. Now that, that is a fail.

I completely agree. Cars was one of my favorite sites. Now if I want to see two different car fails, I’ll have to scroll through many many pages of non car related items.
Also, I don’t see a difference between FailBlog and FailNation. The exact same content is on both sites at the same time. I think this change is for the birds.

I think you guys should have a WTF face failblog. Sort of like PhotoBomb, it would have one person having a ‘WTF is going on’ face while the others were smiling… It would be hilarious.
