This week we are so excited to interview the lovely furrgetmenot as our Cheezburger featured user! Furrgetmenot has created 10,611 Lols, has 10,218 fans and 55,114 favoritings—making her a very essential part of our Cheezburger community. Enjoy the interview, and thanks so much to this wonderful Cheezpeep for participating.

We’d love to hear the story behind your username!
My first *thot* was a name that wouldn’t be forgotten, with the love of soft cat fur, a touch of blue for my favorite color, and pinching off flower petals one-by-one while reciting “He furrgets me.. He furrgetmenot.” All my cheezfrends know me as *furrgy* with a lowercase f (for friendliness), and they know I’m fun crazy.

How long have you been a member of the Cheezburger community and what made you want to join?
May 22, 2013 will be my 4th anniFURsary on ICHC! There are so many reasons why ICHC is my favorite place in the world. I love the lolspeak, the photos, the peeps, the options for creating lolz, plus the ability to fave other people’s cleverness!

What do you look for in a Cheez friend, and what’s the best way to make a new friend?
It’s easy to find Cheezfrends by sending a friend request. I look for commonalities like my age group, similar interests, people I find to be funny. I won’t tolerate the F word or any form of cruelty. Many folks are fun to interact with through messages, and ICHC makes it easy to reach out. Some peeps make awareness lolz, such as those to help homeless animals get adopted. We are a supportive community; there for each other in congrats and condolences. Anytime I have a tough day or need a laugh, I come here and it cheers me right up!

What is your favorite site on Cheezburger and why?
I currently have 17 Cheezburger sites, and my favorite one is Alfabits. If I ran a preschool, I would have prints of these on the wall to encourage children to remember letters of the alphabet in a fun way. I’ve always been inspired by Dr. Seuss!

What is it about Cheezburger that makes you happy?
It’s interactive entertainment at its BEST. I’m blessed to be participating in all the great features my wonderful Cheezburger site has to offer! Now I post some of my creations or *finds* to Facebook for sharing, as well.

Tell us something super interesting about yourself—an embarrassing story, a quirky habit, something that will make us laugh!
Lolcats is my favorite page, but I’ve been allergic to cats for years. As it got worse and worse (even with meds), I finally got told by a doctor that I had to get rid of the cats. Well, I cried and cried and knew that could never happen; I could not give up my sweet angels, and I kept them all until age 15+ when they passed naturally, aware that I could not get any new ones after that. Those years of suffering to see them to the Rainbow Bridge will never be regretted.
My husband has since blessed me with two toy poodles. They make us laugh all the time! But, the most important part of my story is that the Cheezburger site has brought back my connection to kitties once again; something I was dearly missing. ICHC has HEALED MY HEART, and still continues making me feel that special love connection to this very day!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheezburgers?
Let’s ask Grumpy Cat 😀 We need to have his face put onto little cookies, so I could smile when I’m snacking at work with 100-cal packs.

If you could create a new feature for Cheezburger members to use on our sites what would it be, and why do we need it?
I may have thousands of messages that are too numerous to delete. I can’t take a year to do that one at a time. I would prefer a format with a check box next to each message. Then I would be able to select individually or select all to delete (for better privacy).

What else do you like to do when you’re not on the Internet?
OMG. Well, I’m on the computer all day at work full time, then come home and take the poodles outside, feed them and go onto my home computer for fun. I do all the homemaker stuff, plan upgrades around the house, plus I get roped into other seasonal activities—playing Mrs. Claus at Christmas time (with my Santa husband), creating stage props for children’s skits at the church and giving the poodles their piano lesson.
