You know what they say… you’re never forever alone if you have cupcakes. Cheezburger threw a Webby Award Viewing & Cupcake Eating Party on May 21st in honor of the 16th annual Webby Awards, which are kind of like a Super Sweet 16 for the Internet but with less dressing up.

Actually, The Webbys are the Internet’s most respected symbol of success. Our Grammy. Our Oscar. So we are super honored to have been nominated in the Best Cultural Blog category for meme resource Know Your Meme, our site documenting all Internet phenomena from GIFs to viral videos.

And we won! Know Your Meme received a People’s Voice award, which means that readers voted us as their favorite source for all things relevant to Internet culture. Thank you!
