I REALLY don’t want these on my collectibles page! They are there i guess because previously a well meaning friend gifted me one of the first membase sets. PLEASE please work on a feature so we can hide them!
Okay, I freaked out this morning, cause I went to my collectibles page, and all the retired collectibles were gone!
I was about to go ballistic cause of all the stress of collecting ALL of dem, and on top of it, helping my cheez frenz with their colleckshuns.

They didn’t disappear, they got put on a separate page called Retired Collectibles. And I was like PHEW!!
I really don’t like the Straitjacket one. You can’t even tell you have it by looking at the picture. That’s gonna make it more difficult to give gifts. I know the gift list shows people who need the collectibles, but I’ve had some show me 10+ people that don’t have one of the collectibles…but they do! The designs are really neat, but the coloring sometimes isn’t ideal for gifting purposes…

Only two? I’m just about at the stage where I’m about to post a note that I ‘No longer do collectibles – I don’t need more of this ugliness and negativity in my life’ … especially since I came to the site originally to escape the ugliness and negativity of Real Life.

Awesome new set, especially the human heart! I understand how some folks might not be into it, though. Maybe there could be some way of opting out of the memebase sets for those those who do not want? Hiding it is all well and good, but that doesn’t stop cheezfriends who may not realize from gifting them to you when they could be giving them to someone who does want instead. That way they just don’t exist for you at all unless you deliberately opt back in. Anyone that has any memebase collectibles when they opt out could be allowed to give them away (because a single would now be an extra) so they don’t go to waste.
I have no idea how complicated that all might be to set up, but it’s a thought.

Why can’t there be a little tab above each set title that says “Hide” and if you click on it all you see is the title? If you want to start collecting or look at them just click the button which now reads “Unhide”…I’m no good at computers but that seems fairly simple to me.
It is a bit odd, but I don’t see what everybody’s problem is with them. They’re just normal collectables. Really, you people need to get over yourself. And I usually don’t post such negative comments, so don’t take this the wrong way. Please? *smiley face*

I do not like these and do not want them. This place seems to be pandering to the lowest minds. I am finding the network more uncomfortable than it was. Many of the LOLs on ICHC are unkind or unpleasant and I’m afraid that I will lose the will to participate if it gets any worse.

Just an idea but before I gift a mene collectible, I first look to see if they have even part of the set and I still ask if my cheezefrend would like the gift. I haven’t been told no but at least it gives them the option because I’ve read the comments that some people simply don’t like the mene’s. In turn, I’m sure there are mene fans that don’t like the lol’s. I know, scary thought…..
Gotta love your timing – I complete a set and somewhere between 1-3 days later, you have up another new set of collectibles. I’m sure there is a professional/business cat set in the works.

I did not receive my “pills” collectible this morning because you have decided to implement third party cookies — a feature that I had specifically disabled. Why was it necessary to implement it at all?
Hi, Everyone. It is NOT that easy to just click a button and say hide/unhide. I am a programmer and we make things look easy for the user, but it can be very difficult to accomplish.
To those who think you lost your sets, look at the top of your collectibles page, there is a link to retired collectibles now.
I too do what others do, if a friend has one I will gift membase ones, if they don’t I won’t gift them unless asked to.
It’s alot of fun to collect and trade, feel like a kid trading baseball or pokemon cards, and even then sometimes you don’t get what you really want.
I accept any and all collectibles. But what I would like moar is that when sets retire, pls to make them ALL available for purchase.
Currently, there are thousands of cheez frenz searching for Thermometers and Turkeys. And they may be the last retired collectibles that folks might need. And I’m also sure that they would really like to finally complete their Dr. TinyCat collections so they can get back to enjoying the lolz instead of chasing down retired collectibles.
And what about brand new users who sign up for profiles? They might never get a chance to have the retired Dr. Tinycat, holidays, and other retirees.
A WIN would be make ALL retired sets available for purchase. ICHC would make 100′s, if not 1000′s of extra $$$$ for cheezburgers, and it would make ALOT of cheez peeps very happy.

Yes, finally got started with the new collectibles.
Only problem is trying to get them. They’ve been out for a while now and I only got the pills so far because I keep getting the Troll collectables shoved down my throat.
On a completely separate note, if anybody has an extra Reflex Hammer, please contact me! It is the only one left that I need aside from the Insanity Wolf collectables and once I get it, I’ll be caught up!

Have you considerd maybe a one week “amnesty” period this summer to where any of the retired collectibles can be purchased. There is a lot of angst out there with peeps trying to fill in Dr. Tiny Cat and Turkeys. Some peeps started out not caring about them but now are into them and can’t find retired ones, new peeps come on line and want the retired ones. There is a finite number of certain ones avilable and I think there are just none left out there.
This feels weird to ask, but if anyone has an extra straight jacket that they can spare, please feel free to pass my way. Finding it so hard to get it!!
