I bought 1200 coins ($100) to buy these missing ones for my friends (I already had a complete collection for myself).

I did the same thing, except I didn’t buy as many coins as you did. The timing is bad, cause I get paid via pay pal NEXT week on the 7th. If ICHC will at least keep them for sale like they’ve done the recent retirees, they will be making moar monies via these hard to get retirees. Today may have been pay day for some, but not for all, because it takes time to get the money in the bank, get it into pay pal or whatever. If they has the power to take them out of retirement, then they has the power to keep them available for sale after they put them back on the retired shelf. Moar money for Cheezburger, moar happy cheez peeps. But it has been a fun day. Just sadz cause I couldn’t buy EVERYONE a turkey and/or thermometer. I did buys the ones that have been gifting me all this time to “pay it forward” to my other cheez peeps. I’ve gifted over 500 already since they first came out.
